A Note from Tony ...
Lake Moomaw Scenic, diverse, Beautiful ... a fisherman's dream nestled between Bolar Mountain & Coles Mountain in the heart of Gathright Wildlife management area. The area is renowned for its unspoiled wilderness and natural beauty. The lake provides habitat for countless birds, animals, and fish. Indigenous to the area are whitetail deer, turkey, coyote, fox, and a variety of birds of prey such as hawks, osprey, and our natural symbol, the bald eagle.
Lake Moomaw is well known as a premier fishing lake. Fish species found in the lake include trophy Rainbow, Brown & Brook Trout, Large & Small Mouth Bass, sunfish, crappie, catfish, pike, & Jumbo Yellow Perch. I personally invite you to come and experience this beautiful place where fishing comes first, and fun is a close second.
Sincerely,
Captain Anthony Padgett
